Signing of agreement between Paracel and the National Direction of Migration

Paracel and the National Direction of Migration have established an agreement with the purpose of promoting the development of projects and activities that are necessary to improve and speed up the migratory processes and procedures of foreign people who, due to their participation in Paracel, will have to settle in our country.

The migration processes and procedures will benefit not only Paracel employees, but also members of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers linked to the pulp company.

The signing took place this Monday, April 29, at the office of the state institution, located at Caballero No. 201 esq. Eligio Ayala, in the city of Asunción. Jorge Kromawetter, National Director, represented the National Directorate of Migration, while Latifi Chelala, Director of Communication and Social Sustainability, and Marcos Kosman, Chief Financial Officer, represented Paracel.

Paracel is carrying out a project to install and develop a pulp mill in the Department of Concepción. This mill will be supplied with wood from its own plantations and from partner companies and individuals.

The company is committed to contributing to the local development of the city of Concepción and the socioeconomic development of the region, guaranteeing respect for human rights, dignity, aspirations, culture and natural resources.

Through this agreement, the company seeks to ensure compliance with immigration regulations in the country and to provide services in a timely, transparent, integral, and secure manner, respecting human rights and contributing to national security through the adoption of modern technology.
