The «Tourist Infrastructure Project of the Municipal Beach in the City of Paso Horqueta / Concepción Department,» financed and coordinated by Paracel, was enthusiastically received by the community.

The project development included active participation from community leaders who took part in several development workshops. The initiative was coordinated by Paracel, with the support of SENATUR.

As a result of the consultation and collective construction process, seven principles were identified to bring the new Paso Horqueta Beach to life. These include environmental conservation, the creation of paths and access roads to the beach, and the design of unique spaces that will change with the seasons, among others.

The initiative is part of Paracel’s Community Relations and Social Investment Program, aimed at promoting local development and fostering close ties between the communities and the company, while supporting the improvement of local infrastructure. Additionally, the project to enhance the infrastructure of Paso Horqueta Municipal Beach seeks to support the «Master Plan for Sustainable Development of the Tourism Sector of Paraguay 2019-2026,» implemented by SENATUR.

Paracel and SENATUR Renew Agreement

Moreover, Paracel renewed a framework agreement with SENATUR to develop programs and projects aimed at strengthening tourism in the Concepción department.
