Companies continue to join Paracel’s Forestry Development Program to guarantee the availability of wood as raw material in the country for the future pulp mill.

The contract was signed with Ganadera Vista Alegre S.A., whose properties are located within Paracel’s area of influence, which is about 200 km from the mill, located in Zapatero Cué, Paso Horqueta district, about 30 km from the city of Concepción.

The signatories were Agustín Alonso Zapag and Per Olofsson, representing Paracel and Patrick Robinson, director of Ganadera Vista Alegre S.A., accompanied by Paracel’s CEO, Flavio Deganutti.

Through the planting of eucalyptus trees, the Forestry Promotion Program seeks to provide a business alternative to producers in the area.
