Delivery of seeds to producers of Paso Horqueta
Paracel delivered corn seeds and fertilizers to producers in the community of Roberto L. Pettit, department of Concepción, as part of the Community Relations and Social Investment Program.
A total of 62 producers belonging to the Asociación Campesina de Productores del Norte, which brings together 8 communities of the Area of Direct Influence (AID) of the industrial component, received the inputs with which it seeks to develop family and self-consumption agriculture, contributing to local food security.
Epifanio Ávalos, from the Secretary of Agriculture of the municipality of Paso Horqueta, highlighted Paracel’s participation in this process as opportune. «Now we are already having the inputs, we also want to get to the processing production that is planned with Paracel’s team,» he said.
