Access to water for 40 families of the Vy'a Renda indigenous community
As part of the Community Relations and Social Investment Program, Paracel installed a water tank in the Vy`a Renda indigenous community in the department of Concepción.
Paracel’s intervention in this community consisted of the fabrication and installation of a 20,000 liter cylindrical metal tank (cup type), the construction of a concrete base for the tank and accessories for the descent from the tank to the community’s piping system.
The installation of the water tank benefits about 40 families in this community, generating a 7% increase in the Water Access Level, achieving that 97% of the people living in Vy’a Renda can access water in their homes through the community network.
The Community Relations and Social Investment Program supports the improvement of the social infrastructure of the communities in Paracel’s areas of influence.
