Paracel has a Forestry Development Program that consists of the purchase of wood at the national level, with the social commitment to provide a business alternative for producers, producers, institutions or interested companies and also to guarantee the existence of raw material for the pulp industry in Paraguay.

The program aims to generate income and diversify the activities of interested individuals or companies by making their economy more viable through the planting of eucalyptus trees. It also seeks to encourage the adoption of production systems from an environmental and social perspective.

This program stimulates climate regulation. The areas of forest plantations will make an important capture of carbon present in the air, therefore Paracel will contribute to the mitigation of the increase in the concentration of CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), the main Greenhouse Gas (GHG) that causes global warming.

Individuals or companies interested in selling wood must comply with Paracel’s standards by going through the validation processes of the Forestry Development Program.
